  1. NIBBLE NEST
  2.  
  3. YOU'LL NEED:
  4. Mixing bowl
  5. 2 large shredded wheat biscuits
  6. Measuring cups
  7. Measuring spoons
  8. 1/4 cup of coconut
  9. 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  10. 1/4 cup of margarine or butter, melted
  11. Muffin tin
  12. Foil
  13. Fruity bird eggs or jelly beans
  14.  
  15. STEP 1
  16. First make the nests: in a mixing bowl crumble the shredded wheat biscuits with your fingers. Then use a spoon to stir in coconut and sugar.

  18. With adult help, pour in the melted margarine.  Now stir everything together!
  19.  
  20. STEP 2
  21. With adult help, line each of the 6 muffin cups with a piece of foil. Then press the shredded wheat mixture onto the bottom and up the sides of the foil-lined cups.

  23. With adult help, bake in a 350 degree oven about 10 minutes or till crisp.  Now cool the nests in the cups.

  25. STEP 3
  26. When the nests are cool, remove them from the cups by lifting up on the foil. Carefully peel the foil off nests.

  28. Finally, fill the nests with fruity bird eggs.  If desired, top the fruit with a spoonful of yogurt! Yum! Now your ready to enjoy a nibble nest!
